I cannot recommend this site enough for those who are interested in travel to Vietnam. I landed myself in a pinch, and thought I wasn’t going to be able to get my Visa on time, but the very kind people at Guide Vietnam helped me solve everything.

Here under is the list of official holidays in Vietnam when the Immigration office will be close, please keep it in mind so that you will never get troubles in urgent case.
1 January International New Year Day (Official Holiday)
10th March (Lunar Calendar) - Hung King festival - 1 day off
TET Nguyen Dan (Official Four-Day Holiday. 1st through the 4th day of the first lunar month however most celebrate the holiday through the 7th day. (Official holiday)
upcoming holidays
30 April - Saigon Liberation Day. The day which the armed forces of northern Vietnam entered Saigon and reunified the country (Official Holiday).
1 May - International Labor Day (Official Holiday).
2 September - National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Commemorates the Vietnamese declaration of independence from the French on 2 September 1945 in Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi. Excellent day for photography throughout Vietnam. (Official holiday)

Payment through Xoom

We are currently accept payment through Xoom because of its prompt and simple procedure. A few positive things about Xoom service are:
1. The sign-up process is very quick and easy.
2. Sending money is also relatively simple. Just provide full recipient’s information.
3.You can send money using your Paypal account. Or, via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discovery).
4. Sender’s fees are quite reasonable.
Why we do not choose Paypal?
Because Paypal service has not reached Vietnam.
Visa stamping procedure at airport

May I how about the check-in procedure at airport? how long does it take? is it complicated?
Upon arrival at Vietnam’s airport, expect a simple form to fill in. Please remember to bring at least 2 photos of passport regulation size (2in x 2in, or 5.08 cm x 5.08 cm), 25 USD for stamp fees per person (1 month single) and 15 minutes waiting time.
